Act I, Scene I
Cady enters dining room. Dad utters something to Cady, who promptly folds her arms and furrows her eye brows.
Dad- "Cady, I am tried of that mean look you give me. If you do it again, I'm not paying for your wedding."
Cady- "That's fine because you're not invited."
